Melt Cafe - International Buffet At Mandarin Oriental

Melt Café at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Singapore, has a buffet that is one of the best when it comes to food.

At Melt Cafe, there is a plethora of appetisers to choose from at the cold station. From cold cuts to salads, cold soba and even sashimi! The thick slices of sashimi (Tuna, yellowtail, and salmon) and nigiri were extremely fresh and juicy. I seriously couldn't resist finishing all the sashimi at the counter!

Moving on to round 2, Melt Cafe seafood spread is one of main highlights here. The lobster meat was succulent and bursting with flavour. The sheer freshness of this crustacean was able to bring out the true flavour of it, even without much seasoning. I love the sweetness and tenderness of the lobster meat. The fresh oysters served raw on ice is also another must-try at Melt Cafe.

Spice up with Melt Cafe latest addition of Thai Cuisine with piquant green papaya salad, Chiang Mai-style lemongrass roasted duck, Thai curries and beef noodles soup.

Complete the dining experience on a sweet note with all time favourite desserts reminiscent of Thai street snacks such as mango sticky rice and red ruby with water chestnut in coconut milk.
There is also a milk chocolate fountain which you can go along with their Belgian waffles, fruits, marshmallows, ice cream and crepes!

The Melt Chocolate Cafe and Green Tea Yuzu Opera was unexpectedly delicious too! Both cakes were rich in flavours and it will definitely enrapture desserts lovers.
